Event Description:

A decades-long tradition for DC’s public, public charter, parochial, private and home-schooled students, the annual District of Columbia Science Fair has a new name and location this school year.

The competition is now called the District of Columbia Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Fair and will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Wilson High School.

In its 66th year, the fair will give students in grades 6-12 a chance to showcase their research skills and compete for a variety of awards and prizes offered by various government agencies, businesses and professional associations. A separate science fair event for elementary schools is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 19, 2012.
