DCPS Five-Year Action Plan

The DCPS Five-Year Action Plan seeks to refine, define, and sequence the steps we are taking over the next five years to achieve the goals of the Master Education Plan developed with community input by the previous administration.

 Each year, DCPS will revisit the initiatives laid out in the Five-Year Action Plan, assess our current status, and define the specific objectives we’ll focus on for the coming year. These objectives will make up the annual DCPS Performance Plan to which the mayor will hold us accountable.

The Five-Year Action Plan is intended to serve as a “living document.” It will be revised regularly as DCPS learns what works and what changes need to be made.
