Jason Kamras
Chief of Human Capital Jason Kamras currently serves as the Chief of Human Capital for the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS). In this role, he leads the district’s efforts to ensure that its teachers, school leaders, and central office staff members are the most effective in the nation. Professional ExperiencePrior to this appointment, Mr. Kamras served as the Director of Teacher Human Capital for DCPS. In this position, he led the development of the IMPACT performance management system as well as the IMPACTplus performance-based compensation system. He also helped negotiate the district's groundbreaking contract with the Washington Teachers’ Union. EducationMr. Kamras holds a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Princeton University and a master’s degree in education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
