Title I School Choice Program

Bookmark and Share

Once a Title I school has failed to make Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for two years, that school must offer the Title I School Choice transfer process to students who attend that school.

This is a program to deliver school choice options to parents of all children attending Title I schools that are “in improvement”. Transportation will be provided free of charge.

Who is eligible for Title I School Choice?

All students attending a DCPS Title I school that is in improvement are eligible to apply for a transfer under the Title I School Choice process regardless of income.
