Sec. Duncan Kicks off New Year with DC’s Education Leaders

DCPS Interim Chancellor Kaya Henderson, joins Mayor Vincent C. Gray, Sousa Middle School Principal Dwan Jordon, U.S. Department of Education Secretary Arne Duncan, and Washington Teachers Union President Nathan Saunders for a January 6 panel discussion that focused on the future of education in the new District administration.
The event, held at Sousa MS, gave parents, students, community members and press a chance to ask questions of the panelists.
