Did you know Oprah was at Ludlow-Taylor ES on Thursday, February 26? President Obama was in the building too.

To wrap up Black History Month, students posed as famous wax figures in a Black History Museum. The “celebrities” would stand frozen in time. Their classmates would come up to them, clap, and the wax figures would share something about themselves before “freezing” again. Afterward, visiting students would get a stamp in their passport for learning about these important historical figures. Take a look!
