DCPS: Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) are independent savings plans that allow you to take advantage of a before tax deduction for eligible out of pocket expenses. FSA accounts are optional and can only be selected during the Benefits Open Enrollment period or within 31 days of a qualifying life event.

Please note that once FSA accounts are selected, they are active through the remainder of that calendar year and you must re-enroll each year. Eligible expenses must be incurred by December 31 of each calendar year and any reimbursement claims must be submitted to the vendor by March 1 of the following year. Enrolled participants will automatically receive a Beniversal Prepaid MasterCard with convenient access to your account funds for eligible expenses. For additional information regarding FSA please contact our benefits team at [email protected]
