Partner With Us Toward Student Achievement

The Office of Community Partnerships facilitates the participation of volunteers, businesses and the community to help DCPS. As we transform DCPS into the nation’s highest performing urban school district, it is necessary to foster partnerships that give time, resources and financial contributions to directly support and enhance the academic achievement of our students.

In the past, community partners have supported DC Schools by:

• Donating books
• Renovating libraries
• Tutoring and mentoring students
• Painting murals
• Serving as guest speakers
• Sponsoring trips and other experiences
• Providing after-school programs
