If your child needs to take medication or receive a medical treatment during school hours, please have your medical provider complete the appropriate forms and submit them to your school nurse.

Provides support for pregnant and parenting students:
The program helps these students transition from adolescence to adulthood, and from school to higher education and/or work.
Students can receive academic support, vocational and technology training, job skills, job placement assistance, parenting workshops, childcare and counseling.
To participate in New Heights, the student must be a DC resident or have a parent/guardian who is a DC resident, be a parent or soon-to-be a parent (male or female) and be age 20 or younger.

About: The Health and Physical Education Curriculum is an integral part of the total education process. It provides a framework in which the student can develop physically, mentally, socially and emotionally.
