Private University Application Process

The 2019-2020 DCPS Dual Enrollment application for Catholic, GW, Georgetown and Howard University is now closed. All decisions were emailed by the Specialist for Dual Enrollment & Early College Programs on May 10, 2019. If you do see the email in your inbox, spam or trash folder, please email [email protected].

The application deadline for the American University: School of Education has been extended. The application will reopen on May 13 and close June 15. Apply now.

Who Can Apply?

Current DCPS students with a minimum 3.0 GPA. View full eligibility details here.

How to Apply?

Before you begin your application for the SY 19-20 DCPS Dual Enrollment: Private University application, please complete the following steps:

Supporting documents: These documents must be uploaded to the application portal. Applications that do not include all signed supporting documents will not be considered.

Access the application.

UDC-CC CARE Application Process

The UDC-CC CARE application period for summer is March 15-April 15. The application period for fall is May 15-June 15.

Who Can Apply?

  • Must be enrolled in a DC public or DC public charter school that partners with the UDC-CC CARE Program*
  • Must be enrolled in 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade OR enrolled in a GED program at a participating partner school
  • Must take the ACCUPLACER college placement exam by the application deadline

How to Apply?

Complete all three steps (requirements) below by the deadline to participate in dual enrollment.

  1. Complete the online application at http://bit.ly/careappsummer2019 by April 15, 2019.
  2. Submit a recent (DCPS or DCPCS) transcript to [email protected] by April 15, 2019.
  3. Request an ACCUPLACER Exemption or Take the ACCUPLACER exam by April 15, 2019.
