Ballou High School
Jackie Iloh is the Connected Schools Manager at Ballou High School. Jackie is a proud native of P.G. County and graduated from Oxon Hill High School. Jackie began her teaching career in DCPS at Coolidge High School where she served as a Case Manager and special education teacher and coordinated a college access program for seniors. She went on to earn the Educator of the Year award for the National Capital Region with College Summit (now Peer Forward). Jackie served in the United States Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic as a Youth Development Volunteer where she focused on girls’ gender empowerment as well as life skills and HIV prevention training for homeless and working youth. Before returning to DCPS, Jackie served as a Professional School Counselor and Restorative Justice Coordinator within Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS). Jackie earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and received the Urban Scholars Fellowship to earn her Master of Education in Prevention Science and Practice at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and most recently completed the Urban School Counseling Fellows program at Johns Hopkins University. She is honored to join the dedicated team at Ballou and serve the community in this capacity.
