The Strategy Management Team aims to increase collaboration, alignment, and coherence across DCPS, with a focus on the initiatives in our new strategic plan. The team supports the leaders of each initiative in Capital Commitment 2017-2022, from developing and implementing a strategy that infuses a consistent focus on equity across DCPS in our Promote Equity priority, to improving and increasing mechanisms to communicate with and listen to families in our Engage Families priority.
The support will look different for every initiative, but what will be consistent is a focusing on problem-solving, helping to make connections across DCPS, focusing on the supports that schools need, and ensuring progress to meet our goals in 2022.
The Chancellor engages regularly with stakeholders across the city to gather their feedback to inform our strategic plan. Hearing directly from principals, teachers, parents, and students on our work is critical to our success as schools and as a district.
