Tracey Ndenecho

Tracey Ndenecho

Tracey has worked as an elementary educator in Prince George’s County, Maryland for nine years. Throughout her career, Tracey has been dedicated to the education of children in high need areas. As a classroom educator, her students increased in reading ad proficiency levels despite language and economic barriers. Her passion includes educating Limited English Proficient students and new comers to the United States. She prides herself in bridging the gap between language acquisition and learning. This passion led her to coordinate afterschool supplemental educational services for Limited English Proficient students.

During Tracey’s career, she has held the position of grade level chair, Early Childhood Math Coordinator and a member of The Prince George’s County Superintendent’s round table. She led the School Improvement team and was a vital part in creating and implementing the school improvement plan. She assisted in writing the health curriculum for second grade. In addition, she was on the school leadership team, where she served as the representative for all early childhood instructors.

Tracey also has had the opportunity to partner with Johns Hopkins University and participate in the Boundless Learning Co. Teaching Initiative in Prince George’s County, which focused on making education accessible in neighborhood schools to special education students with severe needs.

Tracey has not only dedicated her career to educating students, but also worked mentoring new teachers and providing Math Professional development during Prince George’s County’s New Teacher Induction.

This past year, Tracey had the opportunity to serve as a model teacher for aspiring teachers at University of Maryland, College Park.

Tracey holds a degree in Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Business from Towson University, and a Master’s degree in Curriculum, Instruction and Administration from McDaniel College.

Tracey proudly serves as an Elementary Master Educator.
