Project Overview
Drew Elementary School is a DC Public School located in Ward 7. The project includes full design and construction services for an approximately 71,000 square foot school facility for Drew ES. The Design-Builder will design and construct a combination of renovation and new construction to best execute upon the school’s programmatic needs. The project will place the building in-line with the District of Columbia Public Schools (“DCPS”) Educational Specification district-wide standard which requires "all schools and campuses to have the space and resources necessary for effective instruction."
As part of the design process, the Design-Builder will work closely with the school leadership, various DCPS central office departments, the Project’s school community, DGS, and the wider community to better understand the community’s vision and the Project's unique school culture.
