Programming and facilities at DCPS schools are regularly evolving, aligned with the district’s goal to provide every student with a safe, academically challenging and inspiring learning experience. Dual Language Programming Updates: School Year 2026-2027
The Chisholm Bilingual-Arts program will continue to phase in gradually each year until the entire school is learning Bilingual–Arts (PK3 – 5th grade). In School Year 2026-2027, students in PK3, PK4, K, 1st, and 2nd grade will be part of the Bilingual-Arts program, while students in 3rd-5th grade will continue in their selected strand: either Creative Arts, Dual Language, or special education Communication and Education Support (CES). We anticipate the transition to the Bilingual-Arts program will be complete, reaching 5th grade, in School Year 2029-2030. To learn more, visit Chisholm’s website.
Swing Space Locations: School Year 2026-2027
