How to Submit a Public Service Loan Forgiveness Request

There are two ways to submit a Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) form for Verification of Employment (VOE).

Option 1: Submit Through the DCPS Online Portal

Instructions:

  1. Complete all required employee fields on your PSLF form. DCPS cannot complete or correct missing information.
  2. Include the DCPS FEIN: 53-6001131.
  3. Submit your request through the DCPS Online Portal by selecting “Request Verification Online” and uploading your completed PSLF form.

Option 2: Submit Through StudentAid.gov (PSLF Help Tool)

Instructions:

  1. Log in to StudentAid.gov and access the PSLF Help Tool at studentaid.gov/pslf to generate your form.
  2. When prompted for employer information, enter the DCPS FEIN: 53-6001131.
  3. Complete all required employee fields. DCPS cannot complete or correct missing information.
  4. When asked for employer certification, enter the VOE email address: [email protected].
  5. The U.S. Department of Education will send the form directly to DCPS for digital certification and submission.
  6. You will receive confirmation from the Department of Education once processing is complete.
