Why DCPS?
As a native Washingtonian and former DCPS student, I know public school can exceed expectations. DCPS offers a quality education, has exceptional teachers, and I’m glad to be a part of its continued progression.

Why am I excited to be a member of the Chancellor’s Parent Cabinet?
Certain chances my daughter got through her out of boundary middle school were simply not options at our neighborhood school I want to have a voice in increasing opportunity equity and implement new ideas in my immediate community.

Issues I care about most as a parent:
I care about equal academic opportunities, school modernizations, bilingual offerings in elementary school, testing, mandatory conflict resolution classes, and positive verbal communication/relationships between teachers and students at the high school level.
