Why DCPS?
I am a product of public schools and believe in public education. My family loves living in the District and we are happy to be further involved in this exciting and diverse community through our neighborhood school.

Why am I excited to be a member of the Chancellor’s Parent Cabinet?
This is a great opportunity to hear what the Chancellor is planning for DCPS and how those plans will affect my children’s school. I look forward to learning more about what is happening at other schools across the District.

Issues I care about most as a parent:
Sending my children to a school that nurtures their curiosity and love of learning. I want my children to be in an environment that recognizes all aspects of their growth and education, including their social and emotional learning.
