Cornerstones are high-quality, powerful lessons that students engage through the DCPS units of study. Students experience Cornerstones across grade levels and content areas, including ELA, math, science, social studies, art, health and PE, and world languages. Cornerstones are taught as part of the DCPS curriculum and will be the lessons students will remember years from now.
Developed by teachers, Cornerstones make meaningful real-world connections through engaging and rigorous content and are taught through proven, high-impact instructional models.
