Deal Middle School
Diedre Neal is the new interim principal at Deal Middle School for School Year 2017-2018. She has served as an assistant principal at Deal since 2008. Before this, Neal held the role of principal at Bertie Backus Middle School and assistant principal at H.D. Woodson High School. Neal received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and education from Vassar College and her master’s degree in educational leadership from George Mason University.
