Assistant Principal

Jamie Dawson currently serves as an assistant principal at Coolidge Senior High School. In this role, he is responsible for supporting math and science instruction as well as the junior and senior classes. Prior to joining the Coolidge staff, Mr. Dawson served as an assistant principal at Anacostia Senior High School and as a science master educator.

Coolidge Senior High School is a comprehensive high school located in Ward 4. The school building is currently undergoing modernization into a state of the art facility that will house programs such as the Academy of Health Sciences and Mass Media. Through the Fellows Program, Mr. Dawson hopes to strategically develop partnerships with stakeholders to support the School’s mission of providing all students with the academic and socio-emotional skills necessary to be prepared for the demands of a global society.
