Quinne Harris-Lindsey

Quinne Harris-Lindsey is the General Counsel for DC Public Schools (DCPS) with a tenure of over 20 years in the Office of the General Counsel. She began her journey at DCPS as an Attorney Advisor, specializing in representing the school district in cases related to special education. Over time, she assumed leadership of the litigation team within the Office of the General Counsel, overseeing cases spanning special education, student discipline, involuntary transfers, vendor disputes, and civil rights issues before local administrative tribunals. Her role also extends to providing crucial civil litigation support to DC's Office of the Attorney General on educational matters.

Quinne’s academic background includes a BA in Telecommunications from Pennsylvania State University, a Master of Public Administration from American University, and a Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law. As a proud Washingtonian, she is also an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., highlighting her commitment to both her local community and broader networks.

Beyond her legal endeavors, Quinne possesses a passion for photography and indulges in various leisure pursuits during her free time. These include running, walking, playing golf, billiards, tennis, and basketball.
