Ms. Webster brings more than 15 years of experience in education and has served DCPS since 2012 as a special educator, instructional coach, and intervention teacher. She has led work across literacy, engineering, mathematics, and special education, consistently emphasizing access, high expectations, and strong outcomes for all students. Most recently, she served as assistant principal at McKinley Middle School where her focus on staff development has yielded great results for school culture.
As a school leader, Ms. Webster prioritizes creating engaging, supportive learning environments while strengthening connections with families and the broader school community. She leads with a deep commitment to public education, cultivating a school culture in which strong relationships support student learning and growth.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Towson University and a master’s degree in Bilingual Special Education from The George Washington University. Ms. Webster has also participated in several leadership development programs, including Georgetown University’s Leadership and Innovation Program for Aspiring Principals, Harvard University’s Strategic Data Project Institute for Leadership in Analytics, and School Leader Lab.
