Banneker High School SGA President Demi Stratmon is headed to Dartmouth College next year on a full-tuition scholarship! She plans to study government and Arabic to hopefully become a US ambassador to a Middle Eastern country. With a mother from Tunisia and after taking two AP courses that brought “different societies and cultures” into her classroom, she wants to help “mend broken relationships between the US and Middle East.” Her advice for underclassmen: “All hard work ends up paying off. Stay focused and keep that drive.”
