Why DCPS?
I chose DCPS for my son’s education because I am a firm believer in the power of public education and its ability to educate children in the classroom, while at the same time, providing them with the opportunity to learn invaluable social skills.

Why am I excited to be a member of the Chancellor’s Parent Cabinet?
I am excited to be a member of the Chancellor’s Parent Cabinet because the Cabinet provides me with both the opportunity to be heard in the process of developing the educational policy of DCPS and it always provides an opportunity for me to hear new ideas from other engaged, visionary parents.

Issues I care about most as a parent:
The issues that I care most about as a parent, when it comes to education, is the availability to educational excellence in schools across the city and the implementation of curriculum that will make DCPS students globally competitive when they complete their schooling.
