Investing in DCPS is an investment in the whole District. The city will thrive if it is seen as a place people want to stay in to raise their families. There are many excellent schools throughout the district with dedicated teachers and thriving academic programs.

Why am I excited to be a member of the Chancellor’s Parent Cabinet?
I see an opportunity to help improve the parent experience and perspective, helping the overall system serve DCPS families. Increasing parent participation is the best way to have families buy into DCPS and ensure it is responsive to the needs of the community.

Issues I care about most as a parent:
Parent Engagement and treating parents as true stakeholders. Increasing access to dual langue programs throughout the District. Providing a voice to our underserved communities.
