Breanna Ghassemieh

Dr. Breanna Ghassemieh

Langley Elementary School

Dr. Ghassemieh brings more than 18 years of experience in education, serving communities in the Atlanta area and DCPS. She has held a range of roles, including classroom teacher, early interventionist, instructional coach, Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) specialist, curriculum support specialist, resident principal, and, most recently, assistant principal at Moten Elementary School. Across these roles, she has led schoolwide initiatives to strengthen English Language Arts (ELA) and math instruction, improve attendance systems, and implement MTSS—DCPS’ data-driven framework used across the district to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. 

As a school leader, Dr. Ghassemieh is committed to building strong, supportive communities grounded in high expectations and joyful learning experiences for students and educators. She brings deep expertise in instructional leadership, systems improvement, and support for students, staff, and families. 

Dr. Ghassemieh holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Kennesaw State University and a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Northcentral University. She is also an alumna of Georgetown University’s Leadership and Innovation Program.
