
Jackson-Reed High School
Ms. Robinson brings more than 20 years of education experience and joined DCPS in 2014 as an Academic Intervention Coach at Ferebee-Hope Elementary School. Since then, she has served in several leadership roles, including school turnaround specialist and Mary Jane Patterson Resident Principal at both Stuart-Hobson and Kramer Middle Schools.
Currently serving as assistant principal at Jackson-Reed High School, she has led the social studies, science, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) departments and helped implement strategies that contributed to a 90 percent graduation rate for the Class of 2025. Ms. Robinson is known for her consistent use of data to support student success, particularly in preparing students for life after graduation and ensuring all students are equipped to succeed.
A native of the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Ms. Robinson holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in education from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
