Phelps Architecture, Construction, and Engineering High School
Cara Fuller has served communities with compassion and empathy for 25 years, with particular emphasis on disconnected, adjudicated, and underserved youth advocacy. She has worked in Baltimore and Washington, DC’s public and private sectors, including building a highly rated YouthBuild Program before taking the lead as Ballou STAY High School principal in 2012.
During her tenure at Ballou STAY, Ms. Fuller used her organization, facilitation, strategic-planning, and execution skills to revitalize the school community. She has increased enrollment, promotion, and student satisfaction rates. Ms. Fuller expanded CTE student programming and worked to strengthen college and career pathways. Ms. Fuller enjoys teambuilding and worked with a dynamic staff of committed educators to design project-based programs that spur passion for, and interest in, learning.
Ms. Fuller attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH and received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her master’s degree in Business Administration from the Heller School at Brandeis University.
