
Kramer Middle School
Dr. McMillan brings over 14 years of educational experience and has served in a variety of roles, including teacher, culture teacher leader, and most recently, assistant principal and Interim Principal of Kramer Middle School. His career began in Montgomery, Alabama, where he worked in alternative education before relocating to the DC area and joining DCPS as Dunbar High School’s assistant principal. During his time in leadership, his experience and dedication have led our schools to increases in both attendance and academic performance.
Dr. McMillan believes that students and staff reach their fullest potential when the right conditions and supports are in place. This belief shapes his leadership approach, which focuses on creating and sustaining an environment where high-quality instruction leads to strong student outcomes.
Dr. McMillan holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Tuskegee University, a Master of Education from Alabama State University, and a Doctor of Education from Howard University.
