Dr. Kimbria J. Little is an accomplished educational leader, coach, and strategist who most recently served as Deputy Chief of SEAD Strategy for DC Public Schools. With more than 20 years of experience in K–12 education, she has led transformative work focused on student engagement, academic achievement, graduation success, and postsecondary readiness.
Throughout her career, Dr. Little has served as a teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, interim principal, and district leader, consistently driving results through data-informed decision-making, strategic planning, and equity-centered leadership. She is recognized for her ability to develop innovative systems that improve student outcomes while building the leadership capacity of educators and school communities.
Dr. Little is the creator of the D.A.S. Effect™ (Diagnose. Align. Sustain.), a framework designed to help leaders identify challenges, align resources, and sustain meaningful results. She is also the co-founder of The Power of Little, LLC – Coaching & Consulting, where she provides leadership coaching, professional development, and strategic consulting to educators, organizations, and aspiring leaders. Through her work, Dr. Little remains committed to empowering others to maximize their impact and lead with purpose.
