Walker-Jones Education Campus

Clinton Turner is the new principal at Walker-Jones Education Campus for School Year 2016-2017. He joined DCPS in 2009 as a computer teacher and was promoted to assistant principal at Truesdell Education Campus in 2010. In 2015, he joined the Mary Jane Patterson fellowship, where he served at Garfield Elementary School and Stoddert Elementary School. Prior to joining DCPS, Turner worked in Prince George’s County, MD as a science teacher, and as a middle school science teacher, department head, and basketball and tennis coach in Virginia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in geology from Virginia State University and a master’s degree in entrepreneurship from Howard University.
