2017-2018 Traditional Calendar

Most DCPS schools will follow a traditional calendar that begins in late-August and ends in June. Below is the official calendar.

Important Dates
First Day of School: Monday, August 21, 2017
Winter Break: Friday, December 22, 2017 – Tuesday, January 2, 2018
Spring Break: Monday, March 26, 2018 – Friday, March 30, 2018
Last Day of School: Friday, June 15, 2018* 

* Half-day for students
