Coolidge High School senior Hanna Habtu took every math class at her school, a subject she plans to use as a computer science major on a scholarship at Wittenberg University next year. At Coolidge, she’s been a member of the JROTC, the Key Club, and Green Heart, a group that handles recycling for the whole school. Since she’s only been at Coolidge for two years, she’s also balanced English 2, English 3, and English 4 all in one year. “English is challenging for me, but I try to teach myself at home using different websites.” Her favorite memory from Coolidge has been the college tour she went on last year to Pennsylvania, where they visited four colleges in three days. Her ultimate goal? “I want to become a software developer.” #DCPSGoesToCollege
