Synopsis: |
The District of Columbia Public School (DCPS), Office of Fiscal Strategy, Contracts & Acquisitions Division, on behalf of the Office of Operations Food & Nutrition Services (The District) is seeking Contractor(s) to The Contractor shall provide and deliver milk and other products to identified DCPS school sites participating in the Child Nutrition (CN) Programs, including but not limited to the School Breakfast Program (SBP), National School Lunch Program (NSLP), After-school snack program (ASSP), the at-risk Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), and the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). DCPS operates these programs through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) as administered by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE). DCPS is required to use the nonprofit food service funds, to the maximum extent practicable, to buy domestic commodities or products for Program meals.
