The PEEL Fellowship will run from August to June.

The Fellowship Commitment
Fellows commit to:

• serving as a positive professional role model for DCPS HPE teachers;
• attending all system-wide professional development (PD) sessions, PEEL meetings, and the annual Society for Health and Physical Education (SHAPE) America convention;
• participating in the curriculum planning process;
• teaching the DCPS Health and PE curriculum using the planning documents;
• participating in the observation process and feedback sessions, including at least one lesson videotaped for cohort feedback; and
• serving as a resource for other Physical Education teachers and assisting with the professional development needs of the DCPS physical education department.
