DC Public Schools Announces New School Leaders for SY22-23

(WASHINGTON, DC) — DC Public Schools (DCPS) Chancellor Lewis Ferebee announced the hiring of 17 new school leaders for the upcoming school year, and the promotion of 4 interim principals to permanent positions. These new school leaders include a diverse group of educators with robust classroom and administrative experience; several DCPS homegrown leaders; and individuals with a track record of delivering academic achievements for their students and school communities. 

“I’m proud to introduce this new class of school leaders to our DCPS community as we prepare for the start of the new school year,” said Chancellor Ferebee. “With their vast experiences and dedication to supporting students, these school leaders embody the values of our school district and will advance our mission of providing joyful and rigorous opportunities for all students. They join an exceptional cadre of returning school leaders advancing academic achievement across the District.”
