On Friday, May 24th, 16 advanced dance students from Sousa Middle School participated in a Master class at the Alvin Ailey Dance School.  

Mrs. Nakia Espinal, the dynamic dance teacher signed the students up for the class. The students participated in a beginners Modern Dance lesson under the direction of Mr.  Thomas.  The highlight of the day was meeting Judith Jamison.  Ms. Jamison was the premier dancer for Alvin Ailey and is the Creative Director Emeritus.  

The students stated they will never forget this experience.
