
Dallas Lee, Ed.D., is the Instructional Superintendent of Cluster 8. Prior to this role, Dr. Lee served at nearly every level of public education, from classroom teacher to executive cabinet member. He began his teaching career in Chicago Public Schools before moving to Washington, DC, where he served as a teacher and department chair, before advancing through New Leaders as a Resident Principal. He served as Assistant Principal in DCPS, then as Principal and Instructional Director of Middle Schools in Prince George's County Public Schools. Most recently, Dr. Lee served as Assistant Superintendent in Cook County, advising the superintendent's cabinet on districtwide priorities. He has also contributed as adjunct faculty at Johns Hopkins University and Bowie State University. Dr. Lee holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Technology from Bowie State University, is a certified superintendent, and earned a Certificate in Education Finance from Georgetown University as well as completing the AASA Urban Superintendents Academy.
