OCTO is aware of the global issue with CrowdStrike’s update impacting Windows servers and computers. CrowdStrike has identified the issue and a fix. We are supporting District agencies to ensure operations continue. At this time, District operations are not experiencing major impacts.

Agency PerformanceNew Teacher Orientation (NTO) will be held on August 11 at Columbia Heights Education Campus (CHEC) from 8 am to 3:30 pm. Orientation will include an address from Chancellor Henderson, overviews of DCPS initiatives and the five-year Capital Commitment plan, a family engagement panel, and your choice of breakout sessions. NTO is for all new school-based Washington Teacher Union (WTU) employees, as well as those hired after last year’s NTO.
