David Baddoo

David BaddooWhen David enrolls at Marshall University this fall, he is excited about taking on a new challenge in a different environment and being able to meet different types of people. He plans on studying computer science and says that he has studied computers outside of school through books and online courses. “I’ve always been fascinated about how computers work and I’m the type of person who likes problem solving,” says David. At Coolidge High School, David says his favorite course was AP Calculus because the class was “challenging and motivating,” and emphasized the importance of managing his time to master the course content. David says his favorite memory from Coolidge was discovering that he had earned the highest SAT test score in the school – an accomplishment that he credits to “determination and hard work.” At Coolidge, he says the school staff has supported him on the path to graduation. “The counselors and teachers are always ready to help and keep you on the right path to achieve your goals.” #DCPSGoesToCollege
