Maurice Butler is currently one of two intervention coaches at Theodore Roosevelt High School (TRHS) in Northwest Washington, DC. Within this role, Mr. Butler’s duties include, but are not limited to, serving as the partnership liaison, community service point of contact, staff training co-facilitator, advisory organizer, and more. Prior to serving in this role at Roosevelt, Mr. Butler was an MSW student at Howard University and brings nearly 18 years of experience within DCPS as a school social worker and dean of students.
Theodore Roosevelt High School is committed to providing the most optimal and beneficial opportunities for it students and families from the community outreach level to a more global scale. TRHS continues to pursue its focus on partnerships with stakeholders that can enrich students’ overall high school achievement and experience. Through the Partnership Fellows Program, Mr. Butler desires to decipher, organize, and ultimately enrich the supports available to Theodore Roosevelt High School’s overall school climate and community.
