You don’t often meet students who enjoy doing math in their free time, but Roosevelt STAY High School senior Endale Kebede is one of those students. “Math class has been my favorite, and my teachers here have been very helpful.” At the University of the District of Columbia next year, Endale plans to study computer science so that he can ultimately design apps that help people. He was inspired to pursue such a path after taking a computer science class that showed him he could make a career out of creating something new. His advice for his peers who might be thinking about college? “You need effort, or school is nothing. You need to make decisions to be successful, and you need to spend your time studying.” #DCPSGoesToCollege
