Wheatley Education Campus
Shenora Plenty is the new principal at Wheatley Education Campus for School Year 2017-2018. She comes to Wheatley EC from Stoddert Elementary School, where she served as a Mary Jane Patterson Fellow for School Year 2016-2017. Prior to this role, Plenty worked as both a teacher and an instructional coach with DCPS. She is most excited to serve as a principal in DCPS because she is a proud product of DCPS and sees this as an opportunity to give back to a district which helped shape who she is today. Her approach to families and communities can be described as inclusive because she believes that parents are partners in education. Plenty received her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Boston College, and her doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Southern California.
