Rushinda McCullough has over a decade of experience in the education field. She has taught in urban settings including the Archdiocese of Washington Schools, Prince George’s County Public Schools, and currently the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS). With this array of experience, she continues to grow as an advocate for children at all levels from K-12 to higher education. For the past two years, she has taught at Brookland Middle School. What makes Brookland unique is its strong school climate and culture. The curriculum has been carefully structured to promote a positive learning climate, not just because it leads to academic achievement, but because it is something which possesses intrinsic value in the education of young adolescents. DCPS believes that success is in every student, every school, every day and we are proud to be a part of this inspiring change.
