Why DCPS?
Public schools have to serve every member of the community and enable students to meet a wide variety of members of the community where they live, teaching them to get along and learn from each other. Public schools are a precious resource.

Why am I excited to be a member of the Chancellor’s Parent Cabinet?
I am pleased to be able to be a part of a group dedicated to ensuring our children have a quality education. Our public schools and teachers deserve our full support.

Issues I care about most as a parent:
Ensuring a meaningful and safe environment for our students where they can learn from teachers, curricula and each other. Public schools are democracy in action and I want to help keep them successful for us, our students and the community.
