I love DCPS because my children have had numerous opportunities to be successful.

Why am I excited to be a member of the Chancellor’s Parent Cabinet?
Being a cooperative component in a school system which is on the leading edge of thought is exciting and rewarding; seeing the excitement and wonder in the eyes of our youth brings clarity and focus to my life.

Issues I care about most as a parent:
The issues which I care about most are having every child receive a world-class education, regardless of zip code. Having the skills to transform their lives, their communities and their world rests with this parent, a role this Queen Mother takes very seriously.
