Jordan White

Jordan WhiteWhen Jordan White, a graduating senior at Coolidge High School, stepped onto the campus of Temple University during a college tour organized by Coolidge, she was impressed by the university’s strong business program. As an aspiring entrepreneur, she realized the school would provide her with the tools she needed to set herself up for success. “They have a lot of internships and they help prepare you to get a job as soon as you graduate,” Jordan says. She is planning on majoring in Entrepreneurship and Innovative Management to prepare herself to become a lawyer because she has “always had a passion for debating.” After a career in law, she would ultimately like to start her own business. Jordan says that she definitely wants to study abroad during her time at Temple, an interest that began after her DCPS study abroad trip to Costa Rica last year. Thinking about her experience at Coolidge, Jordan says that the small community has helped her to better get to know her teachers and the school leadership. “I like the small environment of Coolidge because you stand out more.” #DCPSGoesToCollege
