Graduating senior Juwan Saint Charles at Woodson High School, who will attend Dillard University in the fall, is most excited to “be in a new city, meet new people, network, and branch out more.” He plans to major in film after discovering a passion for entertaining others through his videos during his 9th grade year. He’ll miss the extracurricular activities at Woodson, like working at football games and sporting events, being a lifeguard, and meeting with the Poetry Club during lunch. He’s also excited to spend his last summer before college at an internship through the Summer Youth Employment Program. He wants people to know that at Woodson, there are “lots of activities and opportunities to get involved,” but leaves his peers with a final piece of advice: “Do your work.
