Reden Ecleo says that he is excited to enroll at Catholic University to meet new people and learn new things. Reden plans on studying education to become a teacher, following in the footsteps of his family members who are educators including his mom, grandmother, and aunt. He worked as an assistant teacher at a preschool last summer and says that he loves working with students and sharing knowledge with them. Mr. Brewer, Reden’s English IV teacher, says that he has enjoyed watching Reden continue to grow during his time at Dunbar. “He always gives 100 percent,” says Mr. Brewer. Reden says that the teachers at Dunbar have supported his success. “The teachers will inspire you to be the greatest you can be.” He wants to encourage other students to pursue their own path. “Be your own leader.
